Charles Bello & his wife purchased 400 acres of fields, streams and redwoods in Mendocino in the 1960s. Bello was an intern of Richard Neutra, and with his wife, built inspired structures on the land, including the Parabolic House. It’s off the grid & about an hour from any paved road. It is stunning and so very special. Erin & Ian traveled from San Francisco to elope in this special spot of Mendocino… and then their mothers decided to join them. It was a mini wedding in the redwoods followed by a delicious lunch prepared by Ian, a brilliant chef.
